The aim is to strengthen the Montevideo Port as a HUB for South America, and Uruguay as a Natural Gateway to the Mercosur. LOBRAUS, jointly with the private sector as well as government authorities such as ANP (National Administration of Uruguayan Ports) and National Customs Direction, has been making presentations and participating in seminars and trade fairs worldwide.

The seminar " Uruguay : A Natural Gateway to the MERCOSUR" has already been presented in Europe, Brazil , Argentina and the United States . There are also plans to present it in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and America .
